Queen of my Life

For my fourth layout for Color Me Miki, I used it also for my Journaling Junkie challenge. I used this stitched paper from Prima. It is just so beautiful that you can hardly add anything else to the layout. I added Prima flowers for dimension. I also used the journaling block from Webster's Pages and a set of queens from a deck of cards (I don't think my girls will notice that their cards lack queens. LOL!) Since my American Crafts letters lack the letter "E" I used the number 3's and turned them around. Did you notice? :D

Queen of my Life
Title: Queen of my Life

Journaling: My life is far from perfect. I have said words and did actions that I regret. And yet, if I could change something in my life, I don't think there's anything I'd really want to do differently. I have learned to accept myself, my weaknesses and my flaws. I wouldn't be who I am now without all these. I have learned to be Queen of my life.

Awesome job, Mia ... love it! I find it very difficult to work with these very busy papers - you have done a remarkable job by keeping it simple ... LOVE IT, GIRL ...

Love, Tracy G

Beautiful layout Mia - the paper is really beautiful so you are so right to keep it simple - the journaling is extra special too...I'm also at the age now where I'm finally happy with who I am warts & all! And yup I often customise my alphas & numbers like you - gotta stretch that stash lol!
